Custom Record Keeping
Requirement to maintain records of Customs transactions
Any person involved directly or indirectly in the importation or exportation of goods is required to retain all related commercial documentation for 7 years from the date of entry of the import or export.
Documents retained under this section shall be provided to Customs on request.
This is a requirement under section 119 of the Customs & Excise Management Act 2007.
